Acquired by Tolles in 2017, Sticks at Midtown was a pioneering development in the story of Reno’s Midtown District. The shopping center is headlined by some of the area’s most well-loved restaurants and includes several upscale brick and mortar retail stores. When it was built, Sticks was considered to be the first contemporary mixed-use development Midtown had seen in years and helped propel the district’s rise in popularity. The Tolles team raised equity primarily from local and regional sources to ensure the capital aligned with the goal of improving the Midtown experience and supporting small business.
